On a bright sunny morning of February 6^th, 2023 the orientation program for the new batch took off at the auditorium of Global Business School with lot of fervor. It was indeed heart- warming to conduct the first academic event for the students “PARICHAY 2023” – an orientation program for MBA students of New Batch 2022-24 which was a three day affair.

Dr. Mahesh Bendigeri, Director- Admissions welcomed the gathering by giving the vital statistics on GBS admissions and emphasized on employment opportunities for students of GBS.

Shri. Vicky Jain, Management member, GEN Society Hubli, addressed the new batch of students. He further elaborated on self-learning and participation in the academics. He stressed on how valuable it is to be a student of GBS and how many students had to be turned away due to limited availability of seats. He encouraged them to take the initiative in academics and learning.

Dr. M.S. Subhas, Chairman, Board of Governance for Global Business School Hubli, spoke on developing skills, communication and scope for new Start-ups in India. He further advised the students to watch Business News daily. He told students to re-discover themselves in these 2 years of MBA program.

Prof. Nitinchandra gave the Insights of Parichay 2023 and the Director-Dr.Tejas B.Vyas rendered the vote of thanks.

The orientation program gave a detailed understanding on the core aspects of life at GBS involving Academics, Placements and GMG events. Besides these, there were some fun-filled sessions for the students like the ice-Breaking event and the movie review. Mr. Praveen Gudi, a motivational speaker and trainer was the guest speaker for the three day event. He addressed them on the topic –“ Be the Best, Be the Brand”
