Graduation And Award Ceremony
GBS organizes the yearly graduation and Award ceremony “Bhumika-23” on 28 October 2023 at Ocean Pearl, Rayapur, Hubli. Bhumika 2023 will be inaugurated by the Chairman of GEN society Shri Ramesh Kothari ,the Governing Council Chairman Dr. M.S. Subhas and the Director of GBS Dr.Prasad Roodagi.
The ceremony is an annual event at GBS. It is a common platform for the parents and GBS to witness and share the glory of the student achievers. GBS organizes Bhumika to award outstanding students, who have good and consistent performance, academic excellence, active participation in fests, Conferences and events. At the end of their course, all final year students are evaluated in 5 different categories – Marketing, Finance, Human resources, Sports, and Overall Leadership.
Dr.Tazeentaj Mahat is the coordinator for the event compiles the contributions of every student using The Balanced scorecard. The Balanced Scorecard measures the contribution of each student at GBS in the following areas:1. Academics 2. Discipline 3. Placement 4. Extracurricular and co-curricular activities and intra -college events 5. Sports
Totally 77 students applied for the award, 8 students in each category have been shortlisted. The shortlisted students are evaluated by an external panel of judges through the Interview. The weighted score of the Balanced scorecard and Interview will determine the winner of the Gold and Silver medal.
The winner of Marketing Silver is Mr. Manoj Patil and Marketing Gold is Mr. Javeed K. Mr.Rohan iS the Overall Gold medal Winner. The winners various categories are
