Admission Process

The Admission Process for pursuing Two Year Full Time MBA Program at GBS, Hubli involves two stages.

Stage 1 applies to all eligible candidates who have appeared for Global Business School Admission Test(GBSAT)/MAT/KMAT/CMAT and have applied for admission to GBS Hubli. Stage 2 applies to all students who have appeared for PGCET Exam and get selected through counseling process at KEA.

The batch size consist of 120 students of which 50% of the students will be admitted through KEA Process and 50% through direct admission subject to qualifying in any one entrance exam.

GBS always strive for admitting students from diverse background in terms of education stream, gender, location, work experience etc.

Selection Criteria for candidates under GBSAT Exam:

1. Candidate has to apply for GBSAT Exam by visiting www.globalbschool.in website
2. All the registered candidate will be issued login id and password for appearing for online GBSAT Exam
3. Score of GBSAT Exam and the Personal Interview will be considered for shortlisting Top 40 candidates for filling Management Quota Seat
4. Top 40 students will be offered Early Bird Mgmt. Quota Fee Structure and scholarship. Shortlisted candidate have to pay Rs. 50000/- to confirm their admission at GBS, within One week of announcement of result. All those who pay the initial registration amount will be offered scholarship. The scholarship amount will be adjusted with the 1^st year fees.
5. However, all the Top 40 students have to appear for any one entrance exam to complete the eligibility criteria for MBA Admission.

Selection Criteria for candidates under KMAT/MAT/CMAT

1. Candidates who have valid KMAT/MAT/CMAT Score can apply for Management Quota Seat.
2. Candidate has to pay Rs. 50000/- and register for the seat
3. However, if the candidate desire to take up PGCET exam and get admission through PGCET counseling. Then, on successful allotment of seat under PGCET counseling. The candidate seat will be cancelled under Management quota and the registration fees paid will be duly adjusted towards PGCET Govt. Quota Fee Structure.

Selection Criteria for candidates under PGCET Counseling:

1. Candidate who wish to take admission through PGCET exam are suppose to appear for PGCET counseling and based on the result and allotment the student has to pay KEA fee and get admission order copy downloaded and report to college.
2. In case, if the candidate doesn’t report to college within the stipulated time as notified by KEA, then the candidate seat will be cancelled and candidate has to apply for refund to KEA. Institute has no role towards refund of fees in the event of non reporting by the student.

Unfilled seat at KEA

1. The unfilled seats in the KEA will be filled under Management Quota fees after the KEA process is over.
2. In case, if the management wishes, then the unfilled seat at KEA can be filled at PGCET Govt Quota fee structure for the deserving candidates.

Fee Structure

The fee structure for Two Year Full Time MBA Program is decided by the Management in the Governing Council Meeting. The fee structure and the feebies are subject to changes year on year basis depending upon the prevailing market condition and competition.

The fee structure for the batch of 2022-24 is mentioned below:

Govt. Quota Fee Structure      : Rs. 4.10 lakh for 2 yrs

Mgmt. Quota Fee. Structure     : Rs. 5.00 lakh for 2 yrs.

The above fee structure includes the following freebies: Uniform, Textbook*, Domestic / International Tour*/ Canteen Service / Value Added Course

Fee Payment:

GBS collect the fee structure on annual basis.

The 1^st Year fees is collected as per the below mentioned schedule

1. Rs. 50000/- at the time of Registration of MBA Seat
2. Rs. 50000/- at the time of Admission and submission of documents
3. Balance 1^st Year fee before the completion of Sem I exam.

The 2^nd Year Fee is collected as per the below mentioned schedule

1. Rs. 50000/- at the time of beginning of Sem III
2. Rs. 50000/- at the time of filling Sem III exam form
3. Balance 2^nd Year fee before visit of domestic tour.

Seat Cancellation Policy

A candidate receiving an admission offer from Global Business School and accepting the offer within the stipulated date needs to submit all the documents as stated in application form to complete his admission formalities.

If a candidate subsequently wishes to cancel his admission, then the amount refunded as per the below mentioned points.

1. If in case you cancel you admission before the start of MBA Orientation Program at GBS, then you will get Full Refund of your Fees paid less Rs. 1000 (deducted as processing fees).
2. If in case you cancel your admission seat after the start of GBS MBA Orientation Program, then your fees will not be refunded.

Scholarships

GBS offer varied scholarship by recognizing their  academic merit, sports, competitive exam performance.

• Academic Scholarship : Degree Aggregate 85 -90% – Rs. 10000/- , Above 90% – Rs. 15000
• Sports : University Blue/ National Level – 10000/-
• GBSAT Scholarship : 10000
• PGCET Scholarship: 1 to 500 Rank : Rs. 15000 501 to 2000 :  10000
• Highest Scholarship amount will be adjusted in the first year fees

Financial Aid and Loans

GBS provide assistance for getting education loan from bank, NBFC etc. Based on the students parent CIBIL score and nature  of past transaction with the respective bank, the banker sanctions the loan.
